About Camotes islands ...

The Camotes Islands is a group of islands in the Camotes Sea, Philippines. Combined area is 236.36 km2 (91.26 sq mi).

The island group is located east of Cebu Island, southwest of Leyte Island, and north of Bohol Island.

It is 34 nautical miles (63 km; 39 mi) from Cebu City and is part of Cebu.

According to the 2015 census, it has a population of 102,996.

How to get there ?

The only way to reach Camotes Islands is currently by boat. The boat starts from Danao city or Liloan, very near Cebu. 

But don’t worry, we can organize all this for you.

You need however to reach Cebu. Cebu has an international airport, served by major airlines (Emirates, Qatar Airways,  … directly from Dubai or Doha, but also Philippines Airlines and Cebu Pacific coming from Manila)

Water sports in Lake Danao

Yes, there is a fresh water lake INSIDE the island !

Lake Danao is said to be the biggest natural lake in Cebu. And because of its very romantic ambiance, it is also hailed as the Lover’s Lake. 

It has deep blue waters and a serene aura with its singing birds and the breeze.

You can do all sorts of activities in Lake Danao like kayaking, boating, and even horseback riding.

Well, usual tropical weather, hot and humid.

Don’t mind too much the rain, it is hot, and you’ll get dry after few minutes. 

The rainy season is the most impressive with super heavy rains followed by wonderful sunny period.

The dry season will make you sweat, and it is good for the skin 🙂
